As a black woman, I'm here to celebrate black history month. I'm being more intentional on how celebrate our culture. It's time to honor Black heritage, achievements, and culture. Let focus on our personal growth and community impact right now. Our culture deserve to be celebrate everyday. 


1. Educate Yourself & Others

Read books by Black authors (fiction & non-fiction).

Watch documentaries and movies about Black history and culture.

Support Black educators, historians, and activists on social media.


2. Support Black-Owned Businesses

Shop from Black-owned brands for clothes, beauty, home, and food.

Dine at Black-owned restaurants or order from Black chefs.

Book services from Black entrepreneurs (stylists, trainers, artists, etc.).


3. Celebrate Black Art & Creativity

Visit Black art galleries or exhibitions.

Listen to music by Black artists across different genres.

Attend poetry slams, open mic nights, or cultural festivals.


4. Give Back to the Community

Donate to Black-led charities and organizations.

Volunteer at a local Black youth program or mentorship group.

Support prison reform or social justice initiatives.


5. Embrace & Showcase Your Culture

Wear traditional African or culturally inspired outfits.

Try new Black-inspired recipes from different regions.

Learn and celebrate your family’s history and heritage.


6. Have Deep Conversations

Discuss Black history, struggles, and triumphs with family and friends.

Talk about financial literacy, career growth, and generational wealth.

Share personal stories and experiences to uplift others.


7. Prioritize Self-Care & Wellness

Take a break from heavy topics when needed.

Indulge in self-care practices inspired by Black culture (hair, skincare, spirituality).

Celebrate joy and rest—your existence is resistance.
