Carnival Venezia Review: Fun Italian style

The Carnival Venezia was my first cruise. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I learned that cruising is a way of life. Being in a shared space with 4,000 people and a cabin on the water is a vibe. The ship docks in New York City from Manhattan to Miami to the Bahamas.

The ship was large, white and clean. It starts with the Venice-inspired atrium of Piazza San Marco when you enter the cruise. Cruising makes sense to me now. The freedom to eat whatever you want at any time, walk anywhere that is public, and listen to the ocean is calming.

With the Carnival app, you can book reservations, do a lot of things, and so much more. My carnival planner was full on my 9-day cruise. There is nothing better than a slow morning and having some free time. The daytime consisted of chilling on the cruise, going to the Bahamas, or relaxing in the adult-only lounge. The food was delicious, but not the pasta. Guy's Burger Joint was my favourite station. The nightlife was so fun with a comedy club, live music, Broadway shows, and late-night food. Cruising was a fun experience that I will try again. These are moments I will treasure forever.
